Byju Pillai brings more than 30 years of experience from the IT industry; handling Sales, Marketing, Finance, Distribution, Channel & Business Management.
He combines an understanding of current as well as emerging technologies and has been developing several successful business models around it.

Byju has been an entrepreneur throughout his career and has been investing and mentoring
several organisations during their various growth phases.

Byju conceived Inflow Financing’s business plan, raised equity funding and conceptualized the business model, processes, practices and Go-To-Market plan of the company. As the Group Managing Director of Inflow Financing, he is responsible for organisational strategy, resource management & driving action around team, partners and financials.

Prior to Inflow Financing, Byju founded Select Technologies Ltd. in 1999, which established itself as a market leader in information security and networking products in India. Subsequently Wipro ePeripherals acquired Select.

Byju was the GM – Sales & Marketing at Powertel Boca Ltd. where he was the primary driver
at the start-up to elevate it to become the number one modem company in India, prior to it being acquired by Citrix Systems. To begin with, Byju started his career in HCL Kolkata, and then moved to Godrej to run their printer business through channels.

Byju is an Electronics and Communication Engineer by education; is a member of
Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), TiE and is the current spokesperson for
Technology Distribution Association of India (TDAI). While Byju leads a hectic corporate life,
he is also engaged in philanthropic activities through Rotary International.
